Does FreshCUP really save time & money?

FreshCUP frees your office person or cleaner to perform the duties they were employed to do and greatly reduces unproductive time spent cleaning up after other employees and visitors.

FreshCUP eliminates workplace sickness absenteeism, caused by illnesses transferred through unsanitized cups and glasses or germ-ridden tea towels and wash cloths, by up to 41%.

FreshCUP cleanses and sanitizes in just 30 seconds, using only 25% of water hand washing does.

FreshCUP eliminates wasted time on arguments over who will clean all the dirty cups.

FreshCUP greatly reduces labour, energy, detergent and other consumables costs.

FreshCUP costs add up to just a few cents per employee per day.

FreshCUP offers your business significant tax benefits and from less than $2/day FreshCUP is suitable for any size business.  A junior receptionist or cleaner at $15/hour would take 20mins minimum to collect and wash cups up, costing you at least $5/day.

What if our business or our kitchen is too big or too small?

FreshCUP is compact, small enough to fit into even the tightest of kitchenettes and may be installed on a raised shelf or in a cupboard if bench space is at a premium.

FreshCUP is suitable for businesses with 3 – 100 staff or visitors.  Some existing businesses utilizing FreshCUP only have 3 staff but have many visitors during the course of the day who are offered a beverage to drink, e.g. hairdressers, day spas, real estate and travel agents, funeral homes, solicitors, accountants, car sales offices, employment agencies and more.

Large businesses often use both FreshCUP and a dishwasher - FreshCUP for the constant flow of traffic to the kitchen/staff room throughout the day; and a dishwasher for heavier usage times such as lunch hour or meetings.

How does the FreshCUP system reduce my carbon footprint?

FreshCUP improves energy, water and waste efficiency hugely in the kitchen.

FreshCUP uses about 75% less water.  Imagine your kitchen water savings alone!!

All output from FreshCUP is 100% biodegradable.  That's awesome!!

FreshCUP minimizes energy consumption, taking only 30 seconds per cycle.

The Biocleanse product leaves no residue.

The packaging is recyclable.

Poisonous polystyrene cups are gone!!  No more waste piling, costing the environment or killing animals  - at least from polystyrene cups!

We use disposable cups so why do we need FreshCUP?

FreshCUP is naturally designed to wash non-disposable items, but have you thought of how disposable cups affect your costs and our environment and whether, because of their composition, they are sterile to use?

Some facts about polystyrene disposable cups:-

  • Styrene dissolves and migrates from cup to drink and it migrates at a higher rate relative to the hotter the drink is. The highest rate of migration is in cups of tea with lemon.
  • 100% of the persons researched who drank from styrene cups were found to have high or dangerous levels of styrene in their bodies. The damage is accumulative and increases as use of polystyrene cups increases.
  • The styrene which accumulates in the human body may result in: damage to the nervous system, depression, sleep disorders, Parkinson’s disease and cancer in certain cases.
  • It is unable to be recycled and even after 500 years will not break down. Research has proven that un-recyclable materials cause death to 1,000,000 sea birds and 100,000 mammals each year.
  • Styrene takes up space and is harmful and costly to the environment. Why do we keep buying it?

Drinking from a glass tumbler or ceramic or china cup gives the person using it a feeling of quality and worth, especially knowing they are using a germ-free vessel after a FreshCUP cycle.

How does FreshCUP compare to a dishwasher?

FreshCUP is like a mini bench top dishwasher and could be compared to a full size dishwasher as a microwave could be compared to a range oven: a simple-to-use miniature version using less power at great speed.  It is the only dishwasher in the world that will wash your cup in seconds!

FreshCUP is fast, taking only 30 seconds to load and wash; a dishwasher may take 2-3 days to fill and then would take 45 minutes to wash.

The FreshCUP system sanitizes, killing all bacteria, whereas dishwashers only cleanse.

FreshCUP allows crockery to be cleaned by the user at time of use, so cupboards are not empty of cups when they’re needed - while the dishwasher is full!

Why would I need FreshCUP when I already have a dishwasher?

10 good reasons

  1. FreshCUP gives you a clean and sanitized cup NOW – Well! In 30 seconds!
  2. Dishwashers can not sanitize and may take days to fill, then 45 minutes to run.
  3. Many businesses find they use both FreshCUP and a dishwasher.  The FreshCUP system offers more frequent "NOW" solutions throughout the day, while they tend to use the dishwasher only after common heavy usage periods, e.g. lunch hour, large meetings/events when large loads occur.
  4. FreshCUP creates better office harmony with fewer arguments or ill feelings over who should clean up after everyone else or who should load or empty the dishwasher.
  5. FreshCUP tests show that a single dirty cup requiring a cloth to rub away coffee or tea stains will use 2.5 litres of running water, as opposed to 0.6 litre using FreshCUP.
  6. FreshCUP costs less in consumables and energy and the cost per cup is low.
  7. FreshCUP offers users, who like to only use their own cup, the ability to return to their station with their own clean cup without the risk of having common or severe illnesses transferred to them.
  8. FreshCUP reduces the carbon footprint of your business better than a dishwasher.
  9. FreshCUP sanitizes as it cleanses so offers your business "workplace health" which is not a luxury when "workplace unhealthiness" costs so much in productivity loss, not to mention strain and stress on existing staff through absenteeism caused by illnesses easily transferred via unsanitized cups and glasses or germ-ridden tea towels and wash cloths.
  10. FreshCUP takes up little space.

Does Freshcup really eliminate bacteria?

Did you know that the kitchen sponge may have up to 200 times more germs than the toilet seat?

FreshCUP allows you to confidently offer clean sanitized cups and glasses to your staff, your clients or your visitors at any time.

Your workplace hygiene, health and safety will be improved when you install a FreshCUP system and you will notice the reduction in sickness absenteeism and employee disharmony.

Cups in the office are an ideal breeding ground for micro-organisms.  Food leftovers, especially milk and juices, moisture and room temperature create a food base for microbes, bacteria, molds, yeasts and fungi.  Common sicknesses transferred via crockery are gastroenteritis, Hepatitis A, glandular fever and influenzas.  This is not just from a dirty cup or glass, either!  That kitchen sponge may have up to 200 times more germs than the toilet seat?

How do those nasty micro-organisms get into cups and glasses?

Easily...

  • From natural flora in the mouth – most problematic at times of illness and viruses in air passages, the mouth, teeth and digestive system.
  • From touch by unwashed hands, e.g. using cups after visiting bathroom or refuse bins.
  • From germs found in the general office area, especially in unventilated rooms in winter.
  • From physical contact with hands and cups, e.g. by touching cups/utensils left in sink.

The Lab tests are in ……..

From research conducted at the University of Arizona by Charles Gerba PhD, a microbiologist specializing in diseases caused by food, 1000 used sponges/dishrags for washing cups were collected from 1000 randomly selected houses in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Boston & Chicago. Dr Gerba has said that the kitchen is a germ paradise, where germs especially like growing in cleaning cloths and sponges, which are home to 200 times more germs than found on toilet seats.

He stated that two thirds of all colds and more than half of all infections are sourced in food, caused by conditions in the home. The microbiology department of the University of Arizona proved the effectiveness of the FreshCUP system for reduction of bacteria transfer.

Even clean kitchens are not germ-free!

How does FreshCUP work?

Anyone can use FreshCUP, even the boss!

The FreshCUP concept utilizes a unique thermo-chemical process to sterilize cups and glasses.

FreshCUP uses a patented detergent and sanitizing agent called Biocleanse in an easily loadable, recyclable cartridge. Each cartridge washes and sanitizes on average between 500-750 cycles.

FreshCUP heats the water to 75-80  (approx. 176oF).

A controlled amount of Biocleanse is sprayed onto the items during the cycle.

Simply load 1-3 cups, mugs or glasses, teaspoons and saucer into one side of the FreshCUP machine and press a button.

If you have more to wash, load the other side while this 30-second cycle runs. Then remove your clean, sanitized items from the first load and enjoy your next beverage without the after-taste some detergents or dishwashers leave.

FreshCUP allows your cleaner to focus on other tasks around the office.

Can you tell me about the detergent – Biocleanse?

Biocleanse is a patented product designed exclusively to use in the FreshCUP system. The unique blend of cleaning agents consist of a yellow detergent which dissolves grease and washes away dirt and a green sanitizing agent which also polishes.

Biocleanse sanitizes and cleanses to a sparkling finish while dishwashers/detergents only cleanse.

Biocleanse sanitizes in seconds, even at room temperature, and completely eliminates all microbial pollution found on cups and glasses, as proven in extensive laboratory tests conducted at the University of Arizona.

Biocleanse ensures ongoing quality control through its’ thermo-chemical sanitization/sterilization process every time it is used.

Biocleanse is available simply by ordering directly from CleanCUP.

Biocleanse is not available in retail stores. Each carton contains 3 recyclable cartridges, which each last through 500-750 wash cycles, and will be shipped directly to your nominated address at very competitive prices.

Biocleanse costs less than other detergents. Other cleansers are initially less expensive to buy but are used up much faster, making Biocleanse more economical.

Biocleanse is 100% biodegradable, has no remaining residue and leaves no after-taste and absolutely no bacteria.

The Biocleanse dual cartridge is fully recyclable.
